At 2Coders we are looking for Android development profile for immediate incorporation
We are looking for amazing people to join our rapidly growing team of engineers to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to top trending apps in the fast-growing Video experience and OTT market.
The position is available immediately, based in Skopje. You will be part of the team leading our international expansion operations of our new Macedonia branch, with support from the corporate office in Spain. We offer a hybrid work model, with the possibility of working from home or the office.
In addition to technical expertise, we highly value teamwork, collaboration and willingness to learn, as we are a people-oriented, supportive and hard-working team.
Your main activities will be
> Work on custom projects of international scope, mostly of the video streaming sector
> Get involved in all project stages: analysis, estimation, documentation, coding, bug fixing and support
> Help us develop our own products
> Keep an open communication with the team and clients
Requirements
> Intermediate level of professional experience building native Android apps (3+ years)
> Practical knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages
> Strong knowledge of the Android SDK stack
> Software design patterns and Native App Development best practices
> Understanding of Android OS – UI, rendering, background processing
> Trialling, testing, and adopting new technologies
> Experience with diagnosing and debugging issues
> Experience in writing custom UI components and libraries
> Experience with dependency management
> Knowledge of Android’s human interface guidelines, design best practices, coding and naming guidelines
> Experience with all the usual stuff (multi-threading, integration with REST APIs, view animations, custom transitions, etc…)
> Knowledge of TDD and testing suites
> Experience using CI/CD
> Experience with Git
> Familiar with agile practices
> English proficiency – to communicate with the team and clients (we provide English lessons!)
